Founded in 1979, Cheney Care Community was organized by a group of caring citizens intent on providing seniors in our community a place to call home. Today, Cheney Care Community is owned and operated by the Cheney Care Center Association, a non-profit 501(c)3 community organization committed to meeting the health and housing needs of seniors in our area.
Set on five tranquil acres in the heart of this small town, we are located near lakes, golf courses, nature trails, and many cultural opportunities available in nearby Spokane. Eastern Washington University is just blocking away beckoning you with an array of enriching opportunities.

Cheney Care Center is our skilled nursing care and rehabilitation center. Whether it's due to a sudden hospitalization or a progressing illness, you or a loved one may find yourself in need of more advanced care. Should this situation arise, our skilled nursing program will be there to support you and care for your changing needs. Our Medicare-certified program emphasizes a family-oriented and compassionate care environment delivered by licensed and friendly staff. Memory Care is offered for individuals with Alzheimer's and related disorders.
Cheney Assisted Living provides the same services as our independent living but goes beyond to provide supportive services for those who need some assistance with the activities of daily living including eating, bathing, dressing, personal care, and medication management. Our licensed nursing supervision is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week guaranteeing peace of mind for you and your family.
A full daily schedule offers an abundance of opportunities to socialize with friends and our caring staff. Choose from comfortable studios and one-bedroom private apartments featuring bathrooms, living rooms, and kitchenettes.
Sessions Village offers the comfort of community and home. It is about embracing retirement to the fullest at Sessions Village, our private apartment community. Take a peaceful stroll along our landscaped walking path or enjoy time with friends at the Sessions Village Community Center. Comfortable and spacious one and two-bedroom units are situated amidst tranquil country surroundings. Government-subsidized rental apartments are available for those who meet the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) eligibility.
Pine Ridge Triplex Complex is the newest expansion to our Sessions Village apartment community complete with fully furnished single car garages, private backyard patios, gas fireplaces, modern fixtures, energy star appliances, carefree maintenance, solar tubes and skylights, and much more.
